Leaving Day for Many...
Today was leaving day for many including the rest of our subgroup we spent most of the time with. The dreary and cold weather persisted despite what the weather app was telling us. It was too cold and rainy to make a trip into the park (a visit to Hetch Hetchy was considered). The weather added to the somber sadness of folks packing up and leaving. The campground looks so lonely with all the empty spaces.

What to do when a vacation trip is winding down…plan the next trip! We spent some time making some final plans and reservations for our upcoming Southwest excursion. The day also included some quiet time relaxing in our “home away from home.”

GP spent some more time hanging out with former work colleagues and friends that haven’t left yet. Trying to keep warm with whiskey and a fire…and ended the day with the remaining group eating leftovers from the various potluck meals we shared.
Tomorrow we will be packing up and leaving while a few of the diehards stay for another day or two. For us, another day on the road and then home with our kitties.
