Time to Head Home...
We woke up to beautiful sunshine this morning. It had clearly dropped below freezing during the night as there was ice in areas where the dew had collected. Today was our drive home day. We were on the road by about 10:30 and arrived home by 3:00. Only one stop was needed to adjust the brake system in the Jeep. Other than that, an uneventful drive. We arrived home to a nice “Thank You” from Susan and Steve, our “Trusted Housesitters” who took care of the cats while we were gone. A big “Thank You” to them for helping make the trip possible. The cats were happy to have their momma home!

The RV was unloaded in less than an hour. Laundry was started and the Jeep was hosed off to get the mud off (and out of all the nooks and crannies).

While the weather could have cooperated a bit more, it was a great trip. Always good to see friends and catch up in the relaxed world of “camping.” Thank you to Jerry and Annette for organizing (10th year this year!) and all the others who participate and make it a great time! Looking forward to Yosemite Strike Team 2026…

Loved all of your updates! Looking forward to your Southwest trip – and all of the amazing photos to come from there!!
